There are usually quite a few advertised in the Chronicle. Other than that, a lot of estate agents have letting sections. Just do a search for Newcastle estate agents on the internet.

You will do well to find somewhere in the city centre for that amount.

If you do, it wont have a parking space. So if you dont have a car, then thats fine. But if you do want a parking space you will be nearer £500 a month.

And im talking minimum prices here.

Also there aint that many one-bedders on the market generally, which doesnt help you with the prices.

www.ukpropertyshop.co.uk has a list of all the agents and links to their sites

I live upstairs to Luigi's in the Bigg Market and I only pay £247 per month. It's 5 bedroom though so you'd have to share. Our lease runs out in June, get in touch with Charles Lamb estate agents in Jesmond :)

PS It's a class party flat with no noise restrictions at all:D

We pay about £400 pcm and that's for North Shields. Our's is a decent place though in a good area but even crap places in Scumsville aren't much less! For a half decent place near town, you'll be looking at least £700. Flats aren't cheap to run either...!
