I would imagine money plays a big part it was only 2 or 3 weeks ago a lot of fans forked out for Holland away, the cup game @ home on Sunday is another game not covered by the season ticket & the return leg next Wednesday is yet another game not covered by your season ticket. and the only person (Keith @ Toon Travel) running a direct flight from Newcastle to Athens sold his plane out.

I totally understand away games due to prices etc, but the home games are another matter i know its cash on top of your season ticket but at what price are the tickets ???? £25ish ???? there is a good chance now that you lot are going to go along way in this competition so i would of thought that the fans would be excited and want to cheer the club into the quaters, but can you see the return leg being sold out ?. The problem is the competition has been devalued and some of the clubs in it are a total joke, the champions league should only have champions in it meaning the sides in the UEFA cup are of a far better standard to what they currently are.
