Define Back In The Day

    Define Back In The Day

    Been watching this space for many a month and have noticed the amount of people who use the phrase "back in the day" totally out of context.

    I dont know about everyone else but I thought this summed up the halycon days of 87, 88, 89. Recently I seen every one from Hard house monkeys describing back in the day as 2001 - 2003 Sundissential , whereas trance heads describe it as Chicane - offshore around about mid 90's

    Obviously , everyone has their own version of back in their day but "Back in theee day" as far as I am concerned started with Ron Hardy, Frankie Knuckles, KevinSaunderson etc way back in the mid to late 80's.

    Please can someone clarify?
