did a really stupid thing today..........ellielou was on nightshift at the hospital last night, so as normal she was in bed for a while today. She's gone back to sleep 4 a bit now cause she's back at work tonight. anyway, got in from work at 4pm and noticed we needed some bread and milk from the shop, being the good guy that i am, did'nt want to wake her. thought id save her the trip and do something myself for once. so i borrowed her car to make the trip ( the thing being that ellielou does'nt let anyone else drive her car, cause its her pride n joy)

made the trip there n back no problem, not so much as a spot of mud on it, can remember thinking to myself ''good she wont even know i took the car'' pulled up outside our house and tried to put the handbreak on, and guess wot.....FUCKING TWANG THE BASTARD SNAPPED!!!!

Left it in gear with bricks infront of the tyres. im so dead, HELP
does anyone know how much handbreak cables cost these days?

funniest thing is its not the fact that the handbrake snapped its coz she'll know u took her car to the shop!!!

just say "i got it back ok, not a scratch. it would have happened next time u took it out and u wouldnt have known what to do. i saved u the worry and stress of it all"

Sounds like it might be a bit late for ya fella.....but surely you could just leave it in gear? At least it won't roll away and you can plead ignorance when she comes to it!
