Tbh, if i was necking liquid from nail varnish remover id expect my kidney's to fail! just show's that if one clever monkey finds out how to get smashed on something, other simpler monkeys will follow suit. it's a great case to legalise much more trusted and alot safer drugs like MDMA etc

Don't believe the hype people. GBL is a solvent but just because it strips plastic & nail varnish, it doesn't mean it strips your insides (which it doesn't). Different chemicals interact with different chemicals, erm, differently. Something that might be extremely harmful to the human body may be completely benign to plastic and vice versa. The nail varnish thing is, I'd imagine, just a way of selling a now illegal substance fairly openly. Never been too much of a fan of the stuff to be honest though.
I really despair at the types of people who leave comments on the daily mail website under their articles. I really do.
