The point of terrorism is to scare the shit out of people, to make them feel unsafe, to coerce them into supporting whoever is enacting it. It's effectively blackmail via violence.

Remember, terrorism is POLITICALLY motivated. Anything other than that, aint classed as terrorism, so unless someone/something comes out and says it was their doing, and was because they want xxxx to happen etc etc, then its just an isolated incident. Its a shame that the T word is now lumped in with anything that scares the masses, and makes them hand over their freedom in increasing amounts so this 'doesnt happen again'.... ... and it always does.
