banking advice As a minor member of the Royal Family, I bank with HBSC rather than Coutts. I am currently living offa post grad loan while I study me journo course, some of which lives in a high interest savings account with First Direct. Every month I use internet banking to transfer money over to my HBSC account to pay bigs bills like rent and travel, 2 stop me blowing it all on loose men and drink. This month the transfer didnt happen and I went 200 quid over my overdraft without realising. Both banks are claiming it wasnt their fault and I am looking at shit load of charges. My point is should HSBC be allowing payments 2 go thru when the funds arent there....any advice from peeps welcome..
Re: banking advice Are you inbred like hte rest of them?? Do you have horse teeth ??? Do you like hunting and say rah all the time ???
nope manual online payment depending on how much I need there were problems with the site that day, was end of financial year and all that and the bank put a post up saying there were probs..
if they admit there was a problem with the site, it is their fault. although your would probably need a screenshot or some kind of evidence for them to take financial blame...
Re: banking advice HSBC ARE FIRST DIRECT jane you fool... daddy has an account with them you see... HSBC rock, they love me and my siblings, and im not even royal... go see one of the lovely ladies on grey street, they'll sort you out. (you might want to do something about that accent first though) ttfn.
Re: Re: banking advice First Direct are part of HBSC, yes, but are run seperately as non-branch, hence having seperate websites, seperate call centres etc BTW, about our little chat at Fabric, I'm sure everyone will be very supportive when u finally come out, to be honest the hair gives the game away, it was certainly no suprise to me..
