7/7 Bombings - Compo Claims Argument!

Some families of the victims are refusing to go to the memorial service for the 7/7 Bombings in London, being attended by the Queen and Tony Blair - They're arguing about who/how much compo they should be paid.

What bigger insult can they give to the people who died than this?????

They should have made the compo claims into a live game show format instead of the memorial service.

Seems the £££ is more important.

My grandads didnt get compensation for their role in the 2nd World War and their friends and families didnt get a new home when theirs was by the Luftwaffe so why is it suddenly so different now?

At the end of the day the families can have had their own memorial service for their loved ones.
I don't blame them for boycotting it, its just embarassing for the goverment etc them not turning up.
They should be hugely compensated for such attrocities.

should make the families of the bombers and the fuckin radical clerics at these mosque's pay the fucking compo. if they can't pay.. sell thier houses and the mosques and mabez it might give these fuckers some food for thought!

Whats the difference between people who got killed in the second world war by the Luftwaffe and the people who got killed by the 7/7 terrorists??

Im sure if my grandad had been alive now he would have been thinking to himself how proud he was of the country he and his friends fought so hard to preserve

thankfully we still havn't reached the same idiotic heights as the americans when it comes to compensation law. in fact there have been several steps taken in recent cases to limit liability and actually reduce the scope of how and what people can claim comp for.

in my opinion people should be allowed to choose to grieve how they see fit, and if that involves not attending a ceremony organised on by a government they feel let down by then so be it.
