Your blind faith is just as bad as hers andys... your cosmic evolution theories are testament to this. You clearly stated that we can probably work out the complexity of whatever caused the universe to come into existence... We know that the universe hasnt always been.... The eye is a wicked example of evolution... etc. your faith is more blind than stevie wonder and ray charles in a church on a dark night with the candles out.
I never get why people say stuff like this. Does the fact it's dark make a blind person more blind? Would candles improve their vision?
no he doesnt... there is no evidence to suggest what caused the universe to come into existence... his faith is as blind as a muslims.
oh it wasn't a voice, it was 'his way'... things that happened in her life that she related as signs that would guide her towards ‘gods will’ …I actually find this quite upsetting and disturbing, I’m not making a case example of her either, she wasn’t a freak per se, just an average example of what I seem to find every time I scratch the surface of religion. I work with Nigerians who although highly educated have the same ‘logical’ thought process.
Because I believe that human beings are capable of coming to their own decisions for better or worse without the need for some overriding fantastical dreamworld to cloud their judgment. It suppresses the potential of life choices with a need to conform to a highly controlled doctrine. Who suffers the most? The most deprived and underprivileged who also happen to be the most malleable. Contemporary critics are so unhesitant when deploring the methods of scientology as a religion and its foundings, yet in reality it is no different from any other, the only discernable difference is that we have witnessed it’s birth in an enlightened age.
Have you ever seen Second Coming with Christopher Eccleston? I'm not saying it was a great drama, but the concept behind it was interesting.
National law doesn't tell you to quit your job, national law is consensus driven and based on precedence (in the most) not on a fable written 2000 years ago, in fact we don't even know when it was written, or if 'it' ever existed. I'm more interested in garnering your thoughts on the latter part of my post...
oh my thats even worse to quit your job on the sayso of god is wacko , but at least you could say the lord TOLD me to do it , but to quit on the fact that signs have lead you to believe that this is god will when he hasn't said so is just way out west mate i can just imagine god up there watchin her, lookin all confused thinkin 'all i do is send a dove to inspire her to be a better person and go to church! and she quits her job Crazy bitch'
