XBOX 360 released MIDNIGHT

There was about 10 + people in Asda last night for them n that was about 8pm, i couldnt believe it when i seen them all sitting on chairs having banter

I would of had there lives if id been working, might have to put one aside now and make a canny profit on Ebay

I'm going to be on the ball for all these sell out concerts, games consoles, etc, it's easy fucking money. Do you think they'll be a shortage of playstations next year though? Do you think they'll make the same mistake as Mircosoft?

I think sony will be better prep'd.
The thing is though... I'm praying for an Xmas launch so there is a major rush for em..

If its released mid year then the profit margin will probably be about 50% less from the potential at christmas time..

I'm still gonna do it though.. spoke to my dad about it.. got him onboard so I'm looking at buying between 5 and 10

The vid of Killzone on the PS3 nearly made my knees go..
It looks fucking awesome.. by far and away the best looking game I've ever seen..

Including Quake 4 @ 1600x1200 with 16AF and 8xAA.

PS3 is gonna roclk!

I could buy about 50 on my credit card, but don't know if I could be bothered with all that hassle, and what happens if there;s no shortage. Probably just buy 5/10 like you say

hate to piss on your bonfire but that killzone demo was made specifically for E3 or whatever show it was, it wasnt actually gameplay footage, it was made speciafically for that show.

1600 x 1200 is the Resolution/DPI (dots/pixels per inch. In other words how many dots are used to create the image. The more the better.)

16 x AF is 16 x Anisotropic Filtering (This is used to increase the detail and sharpness of textures. For example it can define sand on a beach to look far more detailed, ala Far Cry)

8 x AA is 8 x Antialiasing (This is a technique used to blur out "jagged" lines when a straight edge is rendered. It makes things look smoother. Heavily affects frame rates though!)

aye mate unfortuantely it was all pre redered for that show sony got some english company to make it. looks good like.

i tempted to buy a 360 and bide me time for a ps3.

running the game @ 1600 x 120 is good but you need fs AA and fs AF on quite high for mintness. my comps turd now. my gfx card is weaker than caliber lager. xfx geforce fx 5900. i have a gig of ram and a p4 @ 3100 but without the card its useless.
