x-men 1 was quite poor - i did like x-men2. Spiderman 1 & 2 were also quite good, i liked the 2nd most.. but it's very difficult nowadays for ANY film like this to really impress - effect nowadays are cheap as owt and any film can be loaded with fancy graphics to jazz it up.

when the original superman films came out, it was amazing seeing him do all that stuff - the effects were state of the art and hardly used on ANY film.

it's just difficult to impress audiences these days.

Well you can't really say these days, the majority of Hollywood type scripts have ALWAYS been like this.
