Why do these people come in restaurants in order to puposely be arseholes? I went and got a bill off a table tonight and they had given 40 pound less than the amount on the bill....so I took the money back over and told them that they hadnt given the correct money. One of the men on the table started getting really nasty and going well every1 on this table gave the right amount and its gone missing somewhere between here and the bar basically accusing me of stealing the money n he started getting really agressive in the way he spoke. I went over to tell my mum and started crying :blush: because I was upset and she went and told the man off and I managed to get 25 quid tips off the table to apologise but whats the point of being like that grr I hate nasty people

thats life chuck, you get arseholes amongst good people. just gotta take the rough with the smooth.

i regularly come into contact with arseholes while im at work, just gotta try and ignore them and basically dont let them get you down cos for some reason they thrive on getting people down.

you just gotta get over it and realise that as long as you never turn out like that then you know you are a better person all round


i deal with twats everyday.......u kinda get used to it....done it for a while in various different places of work now and i think i am a better person for it!!!

It's highly likely that it's only me who found that funny

You mean if you were the customer? Its because they didn't even put the right amount of money down...it was a table of 28 and people at the other end of the table said they didn't even want to sit near them because they always try to put the wrong amount of money down when they go out for meals.

I would have made sure I was right before i made a nob of myself though

40 quid is like a full meal(if it was steak), starter and bottle of wine ....how could somebody forget to put that down?

Fair enough I shouldn't have cried but I couldn't help it having someone shout at your calling you a theif is upsetting esp after the hard work I put into that place

Oh absolutley! But it's just the sort of thing they thrive on, they think they are big by doing it.

At the end of the day they were wrong, so you get the final insult

I love it when customers are wrong, absolutley love it.
