Try agencies in your area if none of your mates can get you sorted, they'll take a small percentage of your wages but should find you a job pretty quickly. :)

agencies don't take a percentage of your wage, they charge the employer so there's nothing for you to worry about..

try brook street, ask for aaron and say nasser reccommended you

Cut the middle man out and go straight into bars and restaurants to ask If they need any staff. Worked for me a couple a month back.

easier said than done, you probs have one or two established contacts within the bars / restuarants, we (agencies) have literally 100s who have used us before and trust in what we do :D

Because agencies take far too long to get back in touch, and it shows employers that your willing to go out and look for instead of getting agencies to do the shit work.

All those in Washington eh, so ya registered with about 3?? What a way to make a judgement.

We wouldnt be here if there wasnt a demand for us, as for doing yourself, id rather not know :p

agencies are pap. i found a better job on my own

it takes them too long to get back to you with anything (thats if they actually bother looking).

im registered with about 6 most are crap

some have just started calling me this week, even though i initially signed up about 2 month ago.

saying that, it depends what your skills are and experience. 1 agency gets my mate work all the time.

Northern Rock are always looking Claire, it's such a massive place so there's always quite a large turnover of staff. I work in Personnel - so if you want you can email me your CV and i will pass it over to recruitment for you.:)

I think you should just ask places :) If youve worked at Abbey something different like a restie or bar would be funner for now :) x
