SOULHEAVEN branches out with the first in a new series of monthly events to showcase the finest in International and UK Soulful House talent in one of the North East’s premier venues . . FOUNDATION. What better way to kick things off than with a live performance from New York’s House Queen, Miss BARBARA TUCKER supported by SOULHEAVEN UK Residents PHIL ASHER and ANDY WARD. Since our first show at London’s Ministry Of Sound in 2001 SOULHEAVEN has developed to become a music leader in soulful House and with unrivalled International residents Louie Vega and Kenny Dope scheduled to appear over the coming months alongside quality residents Phil Asher, Andy Ward, Aaron Ross and Rude Boy Rupert plus Newcastle’s very own Steve Butler . we hope to bring a true taste of SOULHEAVEN to the North East as well as offering opportunities for the North East’s up and coming DJ talent to perform at SOULHEAVEN events around the UK as well our home at the Ministry Of Sound. A very exciting venture for SOULHEAVEN and we look forward to your support in the coming months . . We are also inviting all up and coming DJ’s of a soulful persuasion to send us your mixes with a view to performing at future events in Newcastle and those chosen will be picked by the SOULHEAVEN residents themselves
