I reckon clubs are perfectly entitled to charge what they want for club entry - its simple economics in practice.... where price meets demand is where you should set your prices...

... or another way of saying 'charge what you know people will pay'. If 28 quid meant that you were getting a full club with a quality type of person, id pay it. But if the same club charged 28 quid for a crap night in a half empty club full of chavs then i might go once and never go back. The club will eventually shut which is fair cop.

Case in point, i was in a bar last night where a bottle of beer was 6.50, a coctail was 10 quid and a martini was 14 quid each. We had some martini's in the special bar where they only serve that stuff, the place was staffed by basically supermodels and the decor and surroundings and people felt amazing. Even though the drinks were 14 quid each i didnt mind paying since you could sit and chill out and get your moneys worth.

Basically, if people charge the earth and you get a good time out of it - go for it. If its too expensive, dont go. Its all about choice.

Inside Outs always expensive because hiring out the arches as a venue costs a fortune.

Cant remember how much it was but we payed about £20 to go there last year for Tiesto?

Depends on what price you pay in your own mind to have a good time in your own eyes.

You could pay 50 quid for a night out at cheap dives and have 10 pints, a taxi home and a kebab - and be happy that the 50 quid you spent bought the happiness you wanted.

Or you could sit and have 5 cocktails trying it on with and/or looking at people who probably are loaded... And come out of it thinking the 50 quid you spent also bought you the happiness you wanted.

Its just cash = happiness really, and what you do with that money to achieve it.
