    BRITAIN BRACED FOR RAIN

Britain is braced for a drenching over the next few days - just as the school holidays get into full swing.

Unseasonal torrential downpours are predicted to sweep the country with the West and Midlands at particular risk of flooding.

Meteorologist Paul Mott said: "There is certainly going to be some heavy rain over the next couple of days.

"It looks like this will lead to some localised flooding.

"The heaviest rain today is likely to be across south-west England, and then moving into Wales and the Midlands overnight.

"The risk of flooding is almost anywhere across England and Wales."

He said 25-30mm of rain could fall over some areas today, with the same amount again overnight.

gloabl gonna b dry and sunny then aye!!
