    Tyne Bridge Abseil!!

    Hiya peeps!

Some of you may remember a while back I posted a thread about abseiling off the Tyne Bridge, well it was yesterday and I DID IT!!!!!!

    I’m soooooooooo proud of myself!

I was absolutely shitting myself when it came to it but it was so much fun, when I got to the bottom I wanted to go up and do it again, I’d definitely recommend it to anybody who has the chance to do it!

A few of us from work did it and managed to raise over £1200, which makes it even better, I’m not sure of the total raised from everybody but last year it was over £14000 so hopefully we will have raised just as much!

    :D

I nearly did, i looked over the edge then bottled it, made him undo me and everything, then the other bloke stopped me and talked me through everything and i managed it after that!

I was told it was 84metres - i didn't think it looked that high when i got there like!

Maybe they meant to the very top!

    Well done!

i've not done the tyne bridge, but a cliff - the worst bit was the leaning back - it's sooooo unnatural - once you're over the edge - it's a breeze!!!!

It's gonna be a lot harder doing the Baltic it's much harder bouncing your way down a wall (technical i know) than it is to just drop, ive done rock faces when i was a lot younger and i can remember it wasn't easy!!
