ive never had it done so cant comment too much. however, if its just a general clean, i use cotex drops as mine get quite a wax build up from djing, cotex is very good, available from most chemists

the beauty of using cotex is as you put it in, you hear a cracklin start as it breaks down the build up and your hearing gets better straight away, tis fab!

Put warm olive oil drops in your ear for 3-4 days before getting it done to soften the wax.

It's the lushest feeling like, unless your ear is infected in which case it can hurt a fair bit, but it doesn't last long and it's nice (in a twisted kind of way) to see all the wax gunk that comes out.

I've got a really nasty ear infection at the minute, it's making me feel well ill and the antibiotics aren't working. :(

I pulled two massive lumps out of each ear when i was bored in a hotel room last week from insomnia.... Im scared about what else might be up there now!

Some cotex drops will be purchased this afternoon!

I blame the ear splitting volume i have my headphones on

it doesnt hurt at all. All they do it gently pump a bit of warm water into your ear, and the wax come out.

As above - it doesn't hurt at all. Its a weird tingling feeling - quite soothing actually.

When you come out, you'll hear things that you've never heard before. Deffo put drops in for a few days before. They may not do it otherwise

Where do you get this done, GP or A&E? My left ear is in the same nick - combination of the swimming pool and Chemical Brothers.
