your phone isnt part of your contract unfortunately... your line rental pays for the service you recieve ie: being able to make/recieve calls send/recieve txts etc... :(

Mines exactly the same, i sometimes get about 10 + all at once and they have come frome the day before or the day before that :( - pisses me off cos it look like i am being ignorant as fuck when i aint, well to those i like ;)

I need to get mine fixed still cos the backlights still done in - its gonna cost me about £45 but its better than the £200 + a suppose for a new phone.

The joystick thing on mine is a right fanny on like, it works one min then doesnt the next :(

02 ave serious probs with there networks as good as they are for PAYG for me anyways, they wanna fucking get it sorted cos its pissed loads off - all there bothered about tho is the ££ eh

Marc> Surely it's gotta be part off the contract other wise whats the point in choosing a phone in the first place??

    John> Ignorant...you? ;)

Might upgrade anyways - not paying the cost though - they owe me :D

Lol, as daft as it sounds... its the truth.

Think of it this way... if you got a contract and the phone was stolen after 2 days (and you had no insurance) then your still legally bound by that contract because the company are still providing the service... even if you cant use it  :(

im gettin my k700i replaced due it bein recalled. I only found out about this by takin it to the o2 shop for a faulty joystick (half an hour wait in shop btw). So i'm now gettin a nokia 6230 which are just the same really but are more compatible with various video files etc. Shame still tho coz ive always liked sony ericson fones but the 6230 seemed like the best out of the choice they gave me

I recommend the sharp 902, it's the best phone ever no contest, the video quality is perfect no pixel bullshit, it's got a video out, so you can watch your videos on your tv, you can also play the games on your tv to. It's got stereo speakers built in so the real tones sound awesome. The 2 megapixel camera is also the best you can buy and it has an optical zoom no digital bullshit.

Basically I got one last week and it's the best piece of technology ever no contest.

saves you carrying around a video camera, digital camera, mp3 player, oh did I mention it has a barcode scanner (not that you need one of those).

Basically its fooking amazing, why you wouldn't want one is a better quesion.
