I never made it to Promise last night.. and from the sounds of how good the night was i'm absolutely gutted to miss two of newcastle's finest tearin' the place up with quality tunage.

GeordieLee.. i know exactly what you're going thru - my first and most major crash of my life was back when i was 17, hitting black ice on scotswood bridge and hitting the barrier, destroying the front bumper and doing a 180 on the sliproad... while taking my fathers car to pick him up! No pleasant to turn up for him and present the damage..

All i'm gonna say is you need to get back behind the wheel as soon as you can - the quicker you do the easier it will be.
At least you're ok - you'll walk away from this incident a stronger person, and with great memories of your first time at Promise.

Sorry to hear about the accident Lee - at least you're OK which is the main thing. Everything will feel better once the shock has worn off.

Glad to hear you enjoyed the evening beforehand though. Was good to meet you - albeit briefly!

Now the shock is turning into anger that I don't have a fooking car anymore. It'll take ages to repair and even longer if it's deemed to be a write off and needs to be replaced and I can't drive any other car because mine was adapted!!!!!!
