Totally sick of answerin the phone and hearing some shitty recorded messages about winning prizes/money.... i presume every1 else gets these?

i have had 3 today and the last one rang........ then cut off and the phone started ringing as if i was ringing someone else!! would have probably put me through to some £50 a minute line.

we got a phonecall the other day from 'BT' this guy wanted bank details so we said nah u never normally ask for bank details, the guy put his 'supervisor' on the phone and he explained that this one off offer needed bank details, we said ok ring back in 10 mins, we then rang BT and they told us that no one had rang us up that day from BT and that there was no such promotion.

its a piss take and i can see how so many ppl would fall for it.

Especially the elderly

Really sick of shit like that especially when i want a lie in and some cockend recorded voice comes on telin me a have won a bastard prize.!!!

Theres a scam going round where someone rings you and you either ring them back or they redirect you and it costs you something like £50 a minute. BT are doing nowt about it either

i used to work for goodgreef and the amount of people that used to ring up was untrue

people used to ring up and say "ive jus recieved a text message saying i have won cash prize of like £1000 and there was anumber but when i rang there was no answer, i was just wanting to claim my prize"

i felt like tellin them to fuck off the thick fucks!! but i cudnt for obvious reasons

I often get messages in a Canadian accent saying I've won a prize.

Even more annoying is the phone ringing (making me get up off the sofa) and when I answer, there's no-one there. Apparently its computers dialling from call centres automatically, trying to get a call answered. If more people answer than there are agents to talk to you, it just cuts you off.:fuming:

That's canny mad like! Whatever will they think of next!

watch out with ya mobiles aswell theres a huge scam going on were you willl recive a text message or phonecall telling you its time for a free upgrade , but they acuttaly start you up on another contract so you end up reciving 2 bills for two phones tha bastards, causing me alot a greif at work this scam is :evil: :evil:

yeh i've been getting these phone calls all the time... someone rang me saying that they were from natwest bank and wanted to kon my card details... I was like erm well have you not already got those up on the screen.

I rang the natwest branch and they looked on their computer screen and no-one had been ringing me.


The same happened when someone said they were from 02. They said that i could get a phone for free since i spend that much on my other mobile, they asked for my card details, but why would they need th3em if my phone is contract and my card details are on the system.

yeah ignore any mobile phone upgrades calls as there fake big scam at the moment all around uk on every network i work for orange and its causing so much shit its unreal
but its not just orange its every network if you want to upgrade the custmer is the one who request its not the provider yeah like were going to call you and tell you your due a free upgrade nah you got to request one rant over time for spliff gud night

ring bt 150 & ask to go onto the telephone preference service, if they can't do it they should know who can & that should filter u off these lists!
