    Here
I work at Blockbuster, and if it is a new release, it costs £1.90 a day if not it's about 40p.

Grrrrrr .. I have a problem with fines for overdue DVDs..!

Ages ago we rented a random DVD, and on the same day my sister's boyfriend rented a game for his PS2. He took it back 2 days later, but the person on the counter realised that the person who had originally given him the game should have told him he could have it for 5 days (there was an offer on or something). But for some reason he had to put it through again as a new transaction, but he did it wrong and it sodded up the whole account so every time we went in for the next few months it showed as a fine on the screen (but on the DVD - which had been returned at the right time, not the game!) and if it was someone new they tried to charge us and had to ring the manager every time..!

I've done the same thing, but with an X box game! Think it's about £1.90 extra a night. Not sure if they'll charge more on top.

I just stuck it in the 24 hour slot on the outside before heading off to work.
