stanstead - london village got some filthy cheap tickets off popolopoudus airways yesterday, but someone told me last night that its a total rip off to get into london from the airport? whats the cheapest way assuming i cant get a car?
25 or so quid return, train gets you into liverpool street station. Takes about 45 minutes - Stanstead is MILLLLLES away from london.
Coach from the airport takes a hour or sumthing........i think. Its a fair way out. I wudn't get a taxi. That'd cost loads.

We are all going down to Prodigy/Fabric in December. It cost us £64 each return. Easyjet was working out around £35 each for the times we wanted and couldnt be arsed with the hassle/cost of train/coach from Stanstead, so worked out more or less the same with BA.
The train (standsted express) is £25 return and takes about 30-40 mins if I can remember. The bus is far cheaper but I have nevr used it.
To be honest when travelling to London the train takes just as long and is a lot cheaper. Plus you get the added bonus of drinking a cheap cargo
my brother used to live in stanstead until last year you can get the train from bishops stortford into the city for £12 return bishops stortford is like newcastle to wallsend in terms of distance from stanstead
Not been on the bus. But i imagine with London traffic it will take 2 hours. At least. Stansted is over 40 miles from London centre. The last 5 or 6 miles in will take an hour themselves.
