    Just seen this and it is a very interesting and eye-opening film. Similar to Fahrenheit 9/11 but much better and less biased.

    They have MacDonalds in hospitals in America - wrong

    If you think THAT is bad you should go the chemist....you can buy fags at the front but have to walk all the way to the back for your prescription :lol:

    They actually have the nicorette boxes on the same counter as the tobacco products :D I once asked if it was part of the 12 step willpower program and just got glared at :(

    Saw this a few months back. Its an interesting documentary/film .... although i do think it goes a bit overboard towards the end when he makes it look like he's moments away from croaking it if he eats another big mac.

    The size of the drinks in macdonalds is horrific though - I think the supersize coke over there is TWO LITRES in size, and the regular fries there are the same size as our large ones in the UK (2 sizes bigger).
    Alot of people would argue (me included) that the drinks they serve are probably the most unhealthy things you can get from fast food places, since the fries and burgers need some digesting - whereas the drinks are just liquid sugar that goes straight into your system and does you no good.

    Watching this after reading fast food nation makes you wonder how we have come on as a civilised society when we've went from meat from the butchers and potatos from the greengrocer and lots of vegetables.... to eating minced offal, burgers buns loaded with sugar and E numbers and fries made from sludge.

    Having said that, when your young and fit - you can eat loads of crap and still look and feel fine, so it might not be too much of a problem, but the older you get you notice how eating this kind of crap regularly literally makes you feel like shit.

    I'd recommend it, even if it does stretch the truth, and the issue a little :)

    we watched this last night at it is really good!

    kept us all well interested anyway!

    i don't think he went overboard that much on his reaction either...if my liver was pumping out blood results like his was i know i would get worried, he could have easily gone into acute failure within a couple of weeks and totally fucked it!

    a documentry on mcdonalds narrated by a guy who ate mcdonalds 3 times a day for 30 days, he wasn't allowed to eat anything they didn't sell, and had to get it supersized whenever he was asked!

    it included him getting regular check ups to moniter his rapidly failing health, as well as other fun bits showing the evils mcdonalds and the rest of the fast food guys put into the world!

    Its probably 50% less damaging than having a coke with it. Sounds funny but its true.

    You dont get any insulin/glucose spikes in your bloodstream if you skip the sugary drinks and your less able to get fat off it.
