    Big Trouble in Little China

Watched it last night, absolute class film.

It's so 80's it hurts, funny as though. The special effects are sooooooooo bad but that gives the film character :)

Underrated in my opinion. Class film.
Total piss take of John Wayne and kung fu movies. Also has one of the cheesiest 80s theme songs ever over the end credits; "we got biiiiggg trouble (here in little chi-nnnna)"

I mean worse than the crap over the end credits of Lethal Weapon.

I enjoy this movie the more I see it though and the current 2 disc DVD is tops :D

"This is Jack Burton in the Pork Chop Express and i'm talkin' to whoever's listening out there... like I told my last wife, honey I never drive faster than I can see besides that it's all in the reflexes"

"Alright sit tight and keep the home fires burning, if we're not back by dawn... call the president"

80's films rule, back to the futrue, Breakfast club, Ferris Bullers day off, "i'll go, I'll go he'll just keep calling." you don't get comedy like that any more *falls over her zimmer frame*

Yeah, Segal, Van Damme, Arnie, Stalone, lungdren movies are all great IMO. The 80's was great for action heroes:samurai:

Van Damme knoew how to direct action sequences aswell. Did action on Kickboxer... even AWOL with it's over sentimentality (you have no heart if you didn't weep at the end of that one mind) had a brutal kick arse fight in it.

No Retreat, No Surrender = Bruce Lee's spirit teached american high school kid to kick ass.

(This thread could go on forever :D )

Yeah, Van Damme was class then, all of his films from the last 5 or so years have been shite tho.
