Censorship on the promise board?

Just waiting to see how long this stays up, so read quickly.


Have posted a couple of threads recently, both were removed, as was Pete Postlethwaites.

Is it not ok to write about a night at foundation which doesn't affect Promise,

quick response required???

What were the threads about?
Drugs?
Nights that clash with Promise?

These 2 things usually get deleted for obvious reasons.

1. No posting about any event that is on the same night as any Promise.

2. This forum is here for the use of the message board regulars, if you join this board and only post in here your threads will be deleted. This is not a free advertising space!


All threads will be checked and occasionally we may decide that we wish to delete some posts or threads.

If this happens please don't start a 'why has my thread been deleted?' thread, just accept that Mark feels that that event may have a negative impact on Promise.

1)Assuming it wasn't mark who deleted it as he's up for the night.

2)doesn't clash musically at all

3) helps promote promise as 700 people who wouldn't normally go to promise see the posters (dj line-up) and get the flyers.

the whole reason of thats whats on forum is for ppl to post about nights they are goin to/have been to etc. tis the obvious place to look.

sometimes ppl jus forget what forum they are posing in by mistake - so they get shifted into their.

tis where stuff like that shud b posted tho, keeps the board tidy and also makes it easier for ppl to nip on n see whats on etc

as for posting a thread before moving it, to jimmy who me a dunce, if the thread is active, and being read then people will know where it is going. Just need to give 30 mins notice??

I think I know what u meant now, like I thread moved thing in the forum it was moved from, not just a post on the bottom?
