    Ive worn them for about 8 years now. Couldnt live without them. Only problem is when you stop out somewhere and dont get the chance to take them out, they glue themselves to your eyes. Rank.

    ps Allie you just look plain weird when you take your glasses off mate. Stick with the glasses.

    That's the other reason I'm not sure about 'em.

    I hate it wen u start 2 get tired aswell and they go dry n it feels like u have a layer of skin over ur eye :sick:

    yes yes yes i love contact lenses, they are the best thing ever, they feel so weird at first but it gives me so much freedom now!

    after the third pair i put it on my finger stuck in in my eye in one go - brill.

    missed an apmt to get a months supply though and im lazy so i will get around to it sometime :)

    words of advice - there are nasty nasty things that can happen when you leave your lenses in THAT long my mam works for the rvi eye dept and sees to many operations - be careful kids, you only have one pair of eyes!

    Ive got bright blue ones :) They make me look like a diff person :spangled: :p Dont have a problem getting them in, they just make my eyes water :(

    contacts look awful when someone else is putting them in but the worst is the noise they make when u take them out...they're like a slurp & plop/pop kinda noise! :lol: :lol:

    Jess, I wear contacts. Are you putting them in the right way? Have you washed your hands and dried them on a tea towel, as they have less fluff than hand towels?

    Have you cleansed the lens prior to insertion? Have you checked for hair, dust, fluff or gunk before you pop it in?

    Basic questions, but ones that new wearers need to address.

    I wear Contact lenses..............Kill my eyes loads thou and always lose one when Im out!Crazy but I always touch my eyes!! They get itchy with the smoke etc

    Prefer glasses but hate wearing them too, Im looking into laser treatment 2k thou! But worth it!":D
