Yes you are right, but on a clear road, undertaking is clearly not as dangerous as you make it out to be. Admittedly if a driver is a total goon to the extent that they hog the lane and then are so thick they dont notice the person undertaking WHO THEY HAVE ENCOURAGED TO DO SO, then they sholdnt be on the bloody road in the first place.

And by chopping and changing lanes i was implying undertaking and overtaking, you muppet :p

I dont do it very often but when somone is taking the piss I am not prepared to wait until they eventually move if I have let them know that I am there. No danger in that!

With all due respect Ruth, you can't possibly tell me that you do not do things that are illegal, you make it out as though its some big deal. No need to grief me about it.

 Hate people who don't indicate on roundabouts, grrr. Caused major gridlock tuther week doin me lorry test cos' I couldn't pull out @ roundabouts cos didnt know where people were goin. However I have passed, so now I will merely pull out infront of them. Cuz im bigger.

cheeky....overtaking isn't illeagal tho (well most of the time anyway) ;)

i have not said i don't do illegal things but however what i don't do is say i do illegal things:

to be fair theres nowt wrong with undertaking if someone is hogging the lane when you clearly want to be past.

& then try justifying it with:

    WOW!!! MAJOR OFFENCE!!!

Lets face it here, if you are on a dual carriageway/motorway and someone is doing 50 and you want to get past, would you really sit behind them if there is a clear lane??? I VERY much doubt that the poilice would fine you for that, a slap on the wrist at best.

If its blatant disregard to the rules of the road, chopping and changing between lanes, then thats a diferent thing altogether and is something that I would not do and would like to see more people punished for.

i admit when i'm wrong & do illegal things but tbf ain't very often cos i'm nearly perfect!!! :king:

& b4 lazman pipes up...apart from making decisions & sortin gout music for my car! ;)

Ah, looks like i win again then cos with the statement:

"to be fair theres nowt wrong with undertaking if someone is hogging the lane when you clearly want to be past. "

I did not insinuate that I actually DID it

    if u say so :spangled:

If saying that i can't see a problem in somebody undertaking on a clear road, when the person in front is going too slow, and you have taken measures to alert them of your presence several times, then yes indeed I am a cock, but i'd rather be a cock for thinking that than be late

A while ago they were doin roadworks near my house. So they put signs up sayin "WIDE LOADS STOP HERE AND CONTACT - 907578366" or whatever. We picked the numbers off the sign & put a mates phone number in permanent marker.

He had to change his number. Im still living in fear waiting for the revenge attack.

    Joey.

Being a driver, you have to trust people in other cars to stick to the rules of the road, you know then how u can drive and act. Part of driving is being able to predict how someone else is going to act. Undertaking is illegal so people don't expect to be overtaken on the passenger side of your car.

    there's no defence to this.

Take it you're wrong, and stand in the corner for the rest of the lesson.

I nearly got rammed off the road by some jeep with blacked out windows, last year.

Dickhead was right up my arse even tho I my self was stuck behind a car, so clearly couldnt go any faster. So I kinda slammed my breaks on to get him to back off  So he pulled up beside me and swerved towards me, then tried to pull into the very small gap infront of me, but had to swerve back so not to hit a lorry.

Then managed to get infront of me, again swerving right at me  , slammed his breaks on infront of me then zoomed off.

Was quite scary going at 80mph. :spangled: **** :p Was like something out of a movie

I am also very VERY bad at road rage. My language is awful and road etiquette quite poor  But no one perfect ;)
