    Basra bombings

    The southern Iraqi town of Basra (until now peaceful) has been hit by about four bombings. 68 civvies dead and 2 uk troops critical.

    Is this just civil unrest or maybe the beginning of a campaign aimed solely at the British? Now Spain has gone maybe the want to turn the heat up on the U.K......

    there is reports also the iraqi geurilla's have mortar attacked a bagdahd jail & killed 21 of their own ppl!

    There's a Lady at work who's son is in Basra now. Apparantly they get morrar attacks every night at their base but their not reported in the press. Mind they can be a crap shot and miss most of the worthwhile targets in the base! They morrated their base and destroyed the kitchen and fridge the other night:(

    Though lately their scoreing more hits than misses.

    His name is Nass and his Dads in Iraq? :eek:

    I also bumped into him at Crammy B&Q, he had 2 trolleys full of Fertiliser :eek: :cry:
