    I used to go with Marley every now and then. We went thru a stage of going each time, then we went slightly less. Aint been for a while :( :( I used to always be too shy to sing/shout at first, but by half way thru Id be chanting away and Maley would just laugh!! :lol: :rolleyes:

    Sometimes. Clashes with Promise/Quality most times tho. It'll never be the same as it used to be anyway. Used to be class! Leon McGee, Chris Fite etc. Those were the days! :D

    Its actually starting to pick up in Durham to be honest mate. Admittedly, its the same crowd every week and more or less the same type of music regardless of where you go....but we've got quite a few newer bars starting to pop up. The likes of Walkabout, Varsity and Wetherspoons opened just recently and a Chase opened up just last night so bar wise, its not actually too bad....plenty of spit and sawdust pubs the further afield from the centre you go if thats your thing too. Clubs are unfortunately dire though. All three of 'em :lol:

    3? :eek: When did they open another one? When I went out drinking in Durham there was only 2, and we went to Klutes, which was supposedly "the best club of the 2". I can't imagine what the other one was like!! :rolleyes:

    @ Ferox...agreed! :lol: Some random little house next to a bridge with some lad behind the bar who looks about 12 and the dancefloor is no bigger than my dining room! Plus the drinks we're canny expensive :mad:
