    This email scared me!

    :(

    Dear Lee,

This may sound like a strange request, but please bear with me on this...

I help to run a football related web forum in the UK. It's only about 6
months old but it's doing pretty well. It's called Row Z.

There's a new challenge just gone on it, to find people who share the same
name as any of our members, and get them to drop in, register and leave a
message. If they want to leave it at that, that's fine, but all the better
if they want to become a regular visitor.
We don't just talk football. In fact we hardly talk any football at all,
instead we cover almost anything that people want to waffle about.
There's a lot of amusing, switched on people contributing all manner of
content, including jokes, banter, links and games....Actually, forget that
that last comment. There's a load of blokes who have nothing better to do
with their time than fill the forum up with meaningless drivel, but WTF.

What does this have to do with you?
Well, I did a search on the Internet for my name and found this other forum
with a Lee Ridley on it (you). I sincerely hope you don't mind me contacting
you for this reason. Even if it does sound a bit strange, it's merely
intended to be a bit of fun.

Be great if you could drop in.

If you'd rather email me directly, if only to tell me to get lost, my email
    address is lridley@fibernet.co.uk

If you do drop by, just look for the "Namesake Challenge" in the "Mickey
Mouse Cup" area and leave a message, such as who you are what you do etc.
    Y'know, that kind of thing.

    Hope to see ya there.

    Cheers loads.

    Lee Ridley.

P.S. On the forum, I go by the username of Mad Dog.

P.P.S. If you search on the Internet for "Lee Ridley" you'll find me pretty
quickly. I'm the writer/photographer, not the S****horpe Midfielder.

    Cheers again,

    Lee.
(Not a Geordie, but heard a long time ago that that's where my name comes
    from)
