Does anyone know any Club owners, small and big? How they got started? Anything about leases? Any contacts, websites, info regarding this topic?

Basically, has anyone any info on starting up your own small club/night?

Maybe one of the Promise staff can help here, hmmmm? :D

I would imagine it was along the lines of

    1. hire club
    2. hire dj's
    3. hire promo staff.

As far as ive heard, the club staff and security etc are usually included with the club hire - so all you need to worry about is getting people through the door. and putting on the entertainment.

    maybe?

    Hire out one floor.

Do some kind of deal with an established night who will hire the other floor

Create as much hype as possible

Promote it well (not just dumping a piles of flyers is sandwich shops - target people who you know will be up for it)

    Invite all your mates

    Try Pete Carvell at Toast.

Started out last Jan with a HH night in Preston of all places and now he's doing the same in Manc.
