I'm actually really looking forward to it. Usually a good laugh as you get to find out what people are really like away from work, even more so when they've had a few drinks.

More often than not, I never know where I've actually been after them too. Couple of years back I found myself walking back from Stanley. We had our lunch in Durham. How I got to Stanley is anyones guess, but I managed to walk from there to Chester-le-Street whilst totally out of it. I remember passing some guys along the way and asking them whether I was anywhere near Chester-le-Street. They told me I was still six miles away....I'd been walking for hours across dual carriageways and all sorts!

Lets just say this year could be interesting too

I went to one in the Stanley Casino last night, got one at the works sports and social club next thursday and another the following Sunday down the Quayside.

Cookie - if u've turned down the chance to go to lumley castle u've missed a blinder, we went last year and it was awesome!

My one for, ugh, safeway byker (b4 anyone says anything its part-time and easy) was at some dive last saturday.

Went to Arcane instead. Result.

I'm not gonna completely miss out on the whole festive party shite, got one for the bar where I work back home... Should be a bit better though considering, unlike safeway, most of the staff have IQ's higher than their shoesize!

mines is tomorro night in a local indian restaurant with a karaoke after the meal....hope to god all the other people there on saturday are deaf otherwise god help them! Shitty thing is tho im working sunday....first one in over a yr and it just had to be the day after the night out

mines at fucking blu bambu in jan sometime, as all bars are rammed over xmas. sounds shit, but free drink and the fact all my bosses are workin on the bar will b enough to pursuade me.

only good thing on ours is in our shop someone dropped £20 a few wks ago and never came back for it, same thing happened today so thats £40 in the kitty to begin with tomorro nite doesn't sound much but its £40 more than what we'd have had
