Any one seen this before or tape it from TV last night?

Its a docu-film about the American obsession with guns and killing each other.

It blames American culture (esp TV coverage of violence) for the populations trigger happiness......

The whole show was spot on I thought.

I've watched it again and again and it's still as interesting and good as the first time I saw it.

watched it a few wqeeks ago and last night, totally class film. that bloke who slept with the gun under his pillow was so micey!!!

Thought it was an interesting film....certainly thought provoking, the interviewer's tecnique seemed quite Louis Theraux (sp?) at times....sometimes his argument came across as a bit week tho: it lost focus.

i thought it was shocking. Paticularly the bit about getting a free rifle when you opened a bank account with that bank...... and the fact that theres no age restriction on buying ammo in k-mart.

Michael moore is a quality dude..... i'm reading "stupid white men" which is all about how much George Bush cheated to get into office and all this other stupid shit he's done...... i recommend it to anyone- its an interesting read.

I'd blame Lovedough it attracts far too many wogs... in my day the good honest white cities were left crime free.

Racism is a medium the government use as a way of justiofying rising crimes, when in reality the main cause for rising crime is poverty.... Its utter madness that there are government statistics documenting "black on black" crime, why not white on white crime?!?!?!? Racial segregation provides the government with a great scape goat.

In reality I'm far more likely to get shot in Wolsingham from a local farmer with an illegal gun than I am in moss side, however if I were to listen to the government I risk my life everytime I step foot in a black community.

This is basic american hysteria and I'm suprised someone like yourself buys it.

We are lucky as we arnt exposed to as much of this hysteria as they are. We do get a lot but nowhere near enough for me to go and buy a gun to protect my home!!

The thing that is ultimitley different about over here is that Gangs etc are mostly made up of teenagers with nothing to do. I read an article and Brown was saying that if they could stop most of these 14 - 18 year olds from misbehaving they would have solved around 80 percent of the anti social behaviour in the country!

Its mainly just a phase most people go through.

Unfoertunatly the problems this hysteria brings aren't phases we grow out fo they leave long lasting scars - how many people to this day still believe that all black men are hung like rhino's and that Jews are a more intelligent race (although there have been studies to prove this right - it was jews that carried out the studies and you can never trust a jew )
