CUE files Does anyone know how to create cue files, or even better divide up a mix into tracks? any help would be appreciated
Re: CUE files divide mix up into tracks...just use soundforge or summit... or search on google.com for "track stamp" software.... track + stamping + mp3 etc.... loads of stuff mate...
Easier to get one already created for a CD then just edit it using notepad for the MP3 you want to split
there's an easy way in Nero to do it. Create a new music CD, drag and drop the whole MP3 mix into the burning window. Once there, right click on it and select 'Properties' - from the window that opens select the tab that says 'Indexes, Limits abnd Splits' - it will take a few mins while it reads the track in to the 'ocilloscope' window at the top. Once done, you'll need to know the times of the tracks, i.e. 5min 11sec then 11min 2sec then 14min 35sec etc. etc. then for each track click 'Add Index' and stick the time in. This will mark an index pointer for each track but NOT split the whole mix so you still have a continuous mix. DONT click 'convert indexes to split' as this will chop the whole track up into it's various tracks so u get a pause between each one. i've used it loads of times.
