it's definately is sasha in that post... how often does he play? hardly ever... which i suppose makes promoters pay even more because he 'only plays a few gigs', makes him more exclusive.

    he is mint, though. :p

I think he has a fucking cheek to comment on DJ's ruining the scene with high fees etc. The cock has put his name to countless MOS mix albums bleeding the scene of as much integrity as possible and has no problem turning to commercial profit making when it suits him (ie. the High Gate flannel he subjects us too).

If he's so confident with his moral high position let's have a look at what he was charging for his compilations from MOS and what he was raking in at the Millenium period when this all scaled out of control.

People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

    Supply & demand people.

    7 gigs @ 2K a go or 1 gig @ 14k = THE SAME TAKE HOME PAY!

If I could work 1 day a week & take home the same weekly pay I would regardless of my love :spangled: of the IT industry

hhmm... fixing muppets computers cause they don't understand the difference between "shutting down the PC properly and turning it off at the button on the front" is slightly different to playing your favourite tunes for a couple of hours to a pack of baying mentalists who adore you and your superstar showbiz lifestyle which takes you all over the world.

    don't u agree sonny?

In this celebrity obsessed nation of ours, people instinctively look for people(s) to head anything popular - to the point where we'll turn up and pay to listen to a DJ we dont even like.

Never understood the deal with Sasha anyways - whats so good about him?

They are different, but I don't begrudge any DJ making max £££'s for min output as I would do it.

DJs & footballers are the same they start out with a love of the music & game but in the end it becomes a job & its all about the £.

Who made JJ the voice of the clubbers?

The cunt wants to take a look at his bank balance / tax returns and have a re-think about his argument.

He's got his own interests at heart here, not the punters or promoters who pay his wages.

agreed - the more successful, the more concieted (sp) they CAN become (notice CAN become - not all, but a few...) the old biting the hand that feeds... i think this was probably the judges point, people many not like him - but he puts the hours in - he's a busy DJ...

This would be the same Judge that was reported to get a 100K (ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND POUNDS) for DJing at the Millennium.

Erm why should dj's be treated any different to rock stars?

Would the stones play your local youth club?

Because they aren't rock stars. A rock star might play a gig at a stadium and get a shit load of money coz they're playing to 30,000 people or whatever. A DJ playing at a club with maybe 1000 people isn't quite in the same league.
