    I would say right in this case, there may be different cases in the future that I wont agree with. But definately yes in this case!

    I think in this case its right and i agree with it; but only in this case. I think it will be wrong if everyone decides they want to have designer babies just cos they wat their kid to have a certain hair colour etc- that stuff should just be left alone and decided by nature:cool:

    i put right but i'm not so sure!

    Right because it can help save precious lives, but then No because i think nature should be allowed to take its course. we shouldnt fuck with too much genetics shit, god knows what might happen! :spangled:

    Its an advancement in technology tho. We can cure illnesses now that we cudn't before and no-one complained about letting nature take its course when we discovered how to do that.

    What's the point of doing research and not use it when its successful?

    If I didn't think it would open the floodgates then I would say it is right, anything that can be done to save someones life should be done! Sadly, this won't be the only reason designer babys are used and I think it will cause a lot of problems! We have no right to play god!

    Ah but i can say this as i have living proof that its all shit! My gran bless her heart passed away a few months ago, RIP. She lived to a ripe old age and was very fit! And the only time in her life that she ever visited a doctor was the midwife when she was pregnant. And when she died!

    The parents wud have made a baby one way or another. They may have even gone thru several abortions bcos the baby wasnt right. I can see where ur coming from tho. It's a tough one to call.
