Easy as hell.. get WinUAE, and JayBee's Amiga-In-A-Box - this will configure the Amiga emulator with all the optimisations and graph drivers - all you'd need is the latest kick.roms and an appropriate Workbench disk.. which i have.

MAME is the best tho.. paying arcade games like Afterburner or Terminiator 2 Arcade :D

    easier said than done :p

ive searched high and low for these damn things, as i say, i ened up buyin a cd with a a500 kick.rom on it... it works fine, but it bitches with certain games... gets the 'guru meditation error' with sensi, n thats just no good at all

mame is good tho - shame mame.dk went down the pan tho :(

True.. True.. getting the necessary roms or workbench disks can be a pain, but persevere cos they can be found.. failing that, I think got them somewhere.

Ah the memories???????? Am i dead old in comparison to u lot cos when i think ah the memories, its more like the old binatone keyboard where u were 2 lines and a dot and they called it tennis! Or the Atari St, or the acorn electron. They are memories! Me and Richie got a playstation 2 the other week and bought a games anthology which has got loads of games from years ago like pitfall and helicopter on it! Havent played it yet but i will let u know if its any good.

Has any1 got any games they wanna sell for PS2?

    Has any1 got the Sims?

Sure i saw the A1200 one somewhere.. if I find it I'll be sure to send a copy - but it'll be a week before i know, my broadband i down for the week while it's transferred to another line

Yep, i do remember those days as well.. playing on the old Spectrum with the likes of Army Moves or Chase HQ.. beofre that, the Atari 2100 used to rule..was never the greatest on graphics, but oh hell the games were playable. Can't remember how many joysticks we broke playing those Olympic games, but it was pretty high! :)

i had a teak finish on my Atari 2600... and all my joysticks we're chewed at the ends. never had any paddles, mum would buy me games that needed them.. damn it. had a human cannball game... hours of fun shooting the bloke way over the net to see him squash.

Atari ST FM's (or was it the ST E) were the business for music though. you could get all sorts of plugins for them. i had loads of samples on mine. Amigas were better for games like. Them were the days, getting an upgrade to 1 meg RAM was the business. Not quite a classic as my old ZX 81.

i've got a couple of emulators for my PS2, a SNES one, a Specy one and a master system one too i think. Backups, obviously.

I had a teak finish 2600... one of the originals... i recently found out that my mother threw it in the bin less than a few months ago. i was not pleased. she said it was 'junk' but it was a classic! :(
