How can you set up an underground night with the support of the BBC? It would be over commercialised within hours!

If people can't offer something new to the area they are targetting then they shouldn't start a night IMO!

What a strangely negative thing to say. This is ideal for those who wish to hold their own events. It will be a great learning experience. I'm applying because I care about my future development and I hope others care about themselves too. I think everyone should apply!

IM not being funny here but!!

There are that many young djs / promoters that are trying to put on there own nights in and arround Newcastle at the min its no wonder why they dont last 2 mins.

If big clubs are struggling no names mentiond, what chance do little nights have in the north east...

It would be o.k if there was only a couple but if you look arround there is shit loads at the min..

And if you ask me they will end up cancelling eachother out IMO

As i said before not being funny as i am booked to play at some of these nights but just think peeps should concentrate on playing if thats what they want rather than starting up themselvs..

I'm not sure. I got the impression that they don't help you whatsoever. If they do, then it won't be underground like you say. I can't work out how they're going about this documentary because its to do with radio1 not bbc1/2.
