    What's your favourite....

    Book?

Ok may sound a bit dull, but you've got this far. Was on the BBC big read site and people have actually voted for some real crap and some well nerdy stuff that was designed to bore your tits off.

There must be some good stuff, real people actually enjoy and not think they should say.

    My choice:

Nick Hornby - High Fidelity (Women or Records, yeah, like there's any debate)
    and
Tuff - Paul Beatty (about this guy from the projects in NYC who ends up running in the elections)

I used to read books all the time when I was younger, now I prefer a newspaper or a magazine.

The only books I ever seem to read now are autobiographies

I dont, all my mates are well into Ben Elton but that fuck wit is the ultimate champagne socialist.

If I did have fave book it would be a football autobiographie & would be Harry Redknapps.

I actually like Ben Elton's stuff. Most of what I've read has been excellent. His best, probably 'Inconceivable' or 'High Society'.

Nick Hornby's 'How To Be Good' is excellent too. Never read 'High Fidelity', but it is on my 'To Read...' list :D

I liked 'Dead Famous', thought it was up there with his best.

If you're gonna pick up another Ben Elton book though, I'd recommend High Society :)
'Inconveivable', although good, is a bit soft

Saw the feature-length thing on Sky and loved it, didn't know it was lifted from a book though!
