Anyone ever built a proper Igloo or Snowcave?

    I dont mean a kids hideaway, like a proper Bear Grylls effort.

    I might be going up avimore and while the young nuble wife is flexing her long long slim legs on the ski slopes i am going to attempt to make a igloo and perhaps sleep ini it.

    Yes pretty easy to do, all you really need is a square/brick snow mould, good tip tho is if you can have a couple of them (or a few) so you make as many bricks in the moulds before putting them together makes life a lot easier

    im going there in feb for my 30th === therss some snowholes built into the hillsides but u gotta walk a canny bit to get to them -- why i decided to go sleep out in a snow coffin overnight in brass conditions for my 30th i have no idea...

    rossy i remember that i was just about to call mountian resuce (i was only on a "hill" tho) last time i go anywhere without a compass ;)

    how about i pretend i am a escape convict and you can track me through the snowy wastes for a few days. then we can all snuggle up in a snow cave and use our body heat to survive???
